Teachers: Your Own Attendance
Where your own attendance record lives, how the monthly view reads, and what to do about a day that looks wrong.

Your own attendance is separate from your students'. It appears as My Attendance at the top of the Attendance group in the drawer.
How your attendance gets recorded
Usually by scanning your card, the same way students do — which is why the RFID field on your teacher record matters. If it is empty, your scans go nowhere and your record will look like a run of absences. Check it on My Profile and ask for it to be filled in if it is blank.
Where an institute doesn't issue staff cards, attendance is recorded for you by the office instead.
The monthly view
The monthly table lays out the month a day at a time. Read it for two things:
- Days that are blank but shouldn't be — you were in, but nothing was recorded.
- The overall pattern, which is what feeds the staff attendance figures an administrator sees on the Teachers dashboard.
If a day is wrong
You cannot edit your own attendance — that is the point of it. Raise it with whoever handles staff attendance at your institute, with the date. They correct it from Teachers → Attendance.
Do it promptly. A missing scan is easy to confirm the same week and much harder to reconstruct at the end of the month.
