Signing In to Apply

Getting into the admissions portal with a one-time code, and what the access and unavailable screens mean.

One code, not a password

The admissions portal doesn't ask you to invent a password. You identify yourself, and a 6-digit one-time code (OTP) is sent to you; entering it signs you in.

That means there's no password to forget between visits — but it also means you need access to whatever you registered with each time you come back.

Entering the code

Type the 6 digits and Continue. If the code doesn't arrive, Request another OTP sends a fresh one.

Codes expire. If you're told yours has, that's a timing issue and not a sign anything is wrong with your details — request another and use it promptly. Leaving the page open on an old code and coming back to it later is the usual cause.

Each institute has its own portal

The portal is per-institute: the address you use carries the school you're applying to. Applying to two schools means two separate applications, each through its own link — there's no single account spanning several institutes.

Keep the link the school sent you. Arriving at the wrong institute's portal is the usual reason an application "disappears".

If you see the unavailable screen

Admissions can be closed. If you reach a screen saying the portal isn't available, that institute isn't accepting applications through it at the moment — it isn't a fault at your end, and retrying or clearing your browser won't change it. Contact the school office to ask when applications open.
